When in doubt, try this:
When utilizing the Essbase Excel Addin, and something all of a sudden looks weird (meaning your report has never acted in this manner) the best fix is to close down all excel applications and try again. Most of the time, the issue resides with a user having multiple instances of microsoft excel open. You can have multiple workbooks with multiple tabs open, but once you have multiple instances of excel, funky things can occur. Close down all excel instances and start over, this should fix your issue, if it does not then there is a potential that something is wrong with your report or application. So try this before you contact your admin team.

They both mean the same thing, you've entered the wrong password, please try again. Or if you server has the "Login attempts before user is disabled" turned on, then you need to get your password reset.

Try this:
- Go to windows explorer
- right click on My Computer
- Select Properties
- Select Advanced Tab
- Select Environment Variables
- Ensure ARBORPATH is set to C:\Hyperion\Essbase
If its not, then click on 'Edit' and modify accordingly.
"Missing Label" of 0 as a value instead of a text?
This really isn't an error, but its a common question. Instead of putting 0 in as the missing label, try (0), this will return any missing intersection of data with a value of 0, not the text 0.
No Message for Message #1270027 in message database
You will get this error message when attempting a retrieval against and Aggregate Storage Model database that is currently performing a data load. Solution: Wait for administrators to complete the data load.
